We saw a need for products that helped protect athletes during the infancy stages of the synthetic sport surface industry, as the industry had little to no objective at ensuring athletes from injury. This became our motivation to produce sport surfaces that would change the future safety-road-map of sport play on artificial surface systems. Prevention of joint, head and long bone injury was a key objective as the ill effects of early turf systems wreaked havoc on athletes. One of our biggest break-through was the utilization of long grass like fibers and our patented all rubber-in-fill system.
